Dear Customers,
Some big changes are coming this year and to explain in great detail what these changes are, why we are doing them and what our long term goal is I wanted to update you.
So the main news is a name change, Dribb will now become NuCast. Part of NuWeb Solutions…yes, thats why Dribb.com's logo has also changed, but this will be updated again soon to reflect the joint services with NuWeb Solutions. Stream customers will move over to NuCast (don't worry, no changes to existing streaming services - all will continue to work exactly the same with no changes) while web hosting customers will be served by NuHosting with billing & support provided via My NuWeb.
So, why the change after 16 years operating as Dribb.com?…
Well, in short…a lot has changed since 2005 when Dribb was founded, so with this in mind, it has felt that we can’t truly showcase the changes clearly happening within this business under the Dribb name, so it’s time to evolve into our next chapter - NuCast.
Centralised Billing: My Dribb will become My NuWeb, one centralised billing and support site for all NuWeb Solutions services (including NuCast). Making everything quick and easy when you are buying multiple services across our sites, because while we want to have separates sites to showcase the separate services better, we do not want you to have multiple logins for billing and accounts areas, so this is a win-win. Existing NuWeb solutions customers will migrate to the new My NuWeb platform, with the old Client Area being retired. My NuWeb will launch within the next few weeks.
NuCast: With the NuCast brand we will focus 100% on internet radio…we will have a lot of add-on services to help internet radio stations, I will announce more closer to the time as I don’t wish to give too much out this early. But the aim is to become the one stop shop for everything internet radio…sort of a streaming PLUS provider, and of course if there is anything you feel we could be offering to you as a radio station (or stream reseller) then please do let us know! Already have web hosting with Dribb?….more below! NuCast will launch in early-mid 2022 but you may start to see NuCast branding anytime from now.
NuHosting: With NuHosting our aim is to become a 100% web hosting service, we will combine our existing Dribb paid hosting and NuWeb customers into this brand. Offering Shared Hosting (cPanel & Plesk), VPSs, Dedicated Servers, Reseller Hosting plus Co-Location and Rack Space at our UK data centres. Existing paid Dribb hosting customers will remain hosted on the current servers for now, however you will be upgraded to hardware located at our UK data centres. Nothing changes for existing Dribb customers at this time, we will update you when any changes are to come. Existing free Dribb hosting customers, if you have free web hosting as part of your streaming plan, this will still be available however you will be moved to a new server with a different control panel and will remain based at our USA facility, we will contact you when the time comes for any changes. All customers will be contacted well before any changes, and no changes are planned immediately. As always any questions do contact us. NuHosting will launch in early 2022.
